KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: The Kuwaiti national team is set to conclude their training this evening in readiness for the upcoming face-off against India, on Thursday, in the opening of Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
The recent training sessions have been characterized by enthusiasm and optimism, with players' morale on the rise as they gear up to deliver a standout performance. The objective is to secure three points and establish a strong start in the group stage, which also features teams from Qatar and Afghanistan. Coach Rui Pinto, the Portuguese tactician, has emphasized implementing tactical strategies and playing styles to ensure the national team performs at its best.
In a related development, the Indian national team delegation arrived and is scheduled to conduct their essential training today at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
Additionally, a special press conference for the match between the Kuwaiti and Indian national teams is scheduled for 12 noon today, Wednesday. The conference will feature a coach and a player from each team.
Furthermore, the technical meeting for the match is slated for 11: 00 am, Wednesday, in the meeting room at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. The session will be attended by the match observer, referees' evaluator, referees' crew, team managers and administrators, media coordinator, representatives of the Football Association, and other relevant parties. Discussions will cover technical instructions, administrative details, and agreements on various aspects related to the match.
