Cigarettes, LED bulbs in items for auction by customs

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: General Customs Administration announced that an open auction will be held on Wednesday, Aug 28 at 4:30 pm to sell 2,764 cartons of cigarette packs, 157 shipments of various goods, 46 piles of various items, a container with LED bulbs and three containers of paper at the head office of Kuwait Finance House Inspection Division in Sulaibiya area. According to a press release, those willing to participate in the auction must be present at the above-mentioned location at the given date and time, and has to follow the conditions of the auction.

The items can be sold as a single deal or several deals. The buyer has to pay two percent of the cost of the bought goods to the broker via only KNet, and has to collect the goods from the head office of Kuwait Finance House Inspection Division within five days. If not, the goods will be sealed and sold in the next auction.

The management has the right to sell, postpone the sale or take back the item if the price is not suitable for the value of the item or for any other reasons. The buyers have the right to examine the goods and ensure their condition, quality and type by visiting the office during official working hours. If the buyer refuses to make the complete or partial payment, General Customs Administration has the right to resell the item at the expense of the buyer.
