KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: Shops selling inedible fish and involved in cheating are waiting the wrath of the law, reports Al-Anba daily. This came after a video was posted on social media revealing the fraudulent act.

It has been reported the suspects placed a kind of material similar to contact lenses to make the fish appear fresh and cheat customers.

Some sources pointed out a meeting was held on Tuesday with representatives of the concerned investigation authorities, the results of which are expected to be announced on Wednesday or Thursday.

The incident has aroused the fury and interaction of social networking users who demanded tough action against the shops involved in one of the most famous commercial frauds, which has crossed all limits of fraud.

This is the worst disaster and one of the Twitter users described the fish shop as ‘The fashionista fish boutique’ and some even described the incident as fish wearing contact lense
