CBK vehemently denies Al-Mowaizri’s allegation on failure to perform duties

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has vehemently denied the allegation of MP Shuaib Al-Mowaizri that it failed to perform its duties which accounts to some banks exploiting the need of people and imposing high interests resulting in the loans crisis, while pointing out its distinguished and continuous achievements in all related fields, reports Al-Jarida daily.
CBK said the annual evaluation carried out by the International Monetary Fund is enough to confirm these achievements; indicating the last two reports of experts in the fund affirmed the strength of the Kuwaiti Banking Sector, its adequate exchange policy and monetary stability.
