KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: The Court of Cassation, headed by Justice Abdullah Al-Jassem, postponed the hearing on the case of Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, accused of embezzling funds from the ministries of Defense and Interior, until Dec 1 for pleading and settlement. In the recently concluded session, Sheikh Talal Al- Khaled and his defense team appeared in court, during which his lawyers requested an extension to review and prepare their pleadings. The court granted the request, decided to adjourn the session and set a new date to resume hearing the case.
