My friend Felipe, while in Spain, advised me to visit Casares, a mountain town and municipality in Spain, located in Málaga province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia.

My wife and I were attracted by the beauty of the city, with its narrow and winding streets, and its unique and charming cemetery, which lies at its highest point. I also noticed the presence of tourists in the streets, and a 5-storey car park, and I wondered about the secret behind all that?
The question showed that this sleepy city on a small mountain, sparsely populated, and which does not rise more than 435 meters above sea level, has an emotional importance for the Andalusians, as it is the birthplace, cemetery and museum of the Andalusian thinker, writer and politician Blas Infante (1885-1936), who fell in love with Arab civilization and the Muslims in his country, so he sought to achieve the dream of Andalusia’s independence from Spain, and to make it culturally and intellectually linked with the countries of the Maghreb, and this prompted the dictator Franco, during the Spanish Civil War, to arrest him and execute him by firing squad in August 1936, but not before he succeeded in planting a seed of distinction in the region from the rest of Spain, and thus obtaining autonomy.
The story of Blas is worth reading. After the end of the Islamic state, the Andalusians, or Moriscos, lived a very difficult life at the hands of the men of the Inquisition, but they still adhered to their rights, and revolted against the Spanish authorities in 1568, and their revolution ended in failure after three years, but it was enough to put things in order. In a different path, and the resurrection of the Andalusian spirit from time to time over the centuries, to form the new Andalusian identity, far from Islam, but different from the rest of Spain, as it is Andalusian before it was Spanish!
Visitors to Marbella, do not forget to visit Casares.
Several parties, including the US embassy, agree on the high level of pollution in Kuwait’s atmosphere, and warn its citizens, from time to time, not to leave the house except in cases of necessity. International indicators also place Kuwait among the ten most polluted countries in the world, and only Chad, Iraq, Pakistan and Bahrain precede us in terms of air pollution. I left Kuwait for Marbella about a month ago, and that was enough for me to feel that my health had improved, as the air was cleaner, compared to Kuwait, with less snoring, less mucus and dry mouth, and I could walk longer distances, and my skin sensitivity decreased significantly.
With all these warnings and real health risks in Kuwait, neither the Ministry of Health nor the Environment Center moved to reveal the truth of the matter, and this in itself is a crime, bearing in mind that there is a heavy penalty for those who publish incorrect news about the weather, but no one punishes the concerned authorities for their silence about reaching this level of pollution is serious.
Nor have I heard of any party that submitted proposals to remedy the dilapidated situation of all this amount of fumes and toxins emanating from the chimneys of dozens of factories and power plants, oil refining, and water distillation, all within a few kilometers!
