KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: Upon instructions issued by the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major- General Abdullah Al-Muhanna, the Ahmadi Traffic Department launched a campaign against car owners who offer their cars for sale in open places, abandoned vehicles and vehicles violating traffic laws, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior.

The campaign resulted in the issuance of 380 direct and indirect citations and resulting in the seizure of 29 vehicles. The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the ministry has called on motorists to abide by traffic laws. The department stressed similar traffic campaigns will continue in all governorates to protect the safety and security of all road users.
