Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali meets citizens at diwaniya to discuss development projects and civil society engagement.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: Capital Governor Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali affirmed that the governorate plays a pivotal role in advancing development by coordinating with all relevant ministries to implement projects according to established plans aimed at improving services. Sheikh Abdullah said this while speaking to reporters at the governorate’s diwaniya, where he listened to the opinions and suggestions of residents.

The meeting was attended by several citizens, including the Dean of Kuwaiti Journalism Editor-in-Chief Ahmed Al-Jarallah, who is closely monitoring all projects aimed at improving services provided to citizens and residents. He reiterated the Capital Governorate’s commitment to continuing its efforts to meet citizens’ aspirations and expressed gratitude to all parties contributing to these goals. The governor said the end of the summer marks the start of a new season filled with ambition and achievements to better serve the people of the Capital Governorate. He highlighted the importance of such gatherings as a fundamental platform for exchanging constructive views and ideas that enhance the role of civil society in Kuwait, adding, “We continue to hold these diwaniyas regularly to meet with citizens and hear their opinions and suggestions. Through these meetings, we aim to develop and improve services and address the problems and challenges faced by residents of the governorate.”
