KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: Public Relations and Media Department Director at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and official spokesperson of the authority Aseel Al-Mazyad announced that the deadline for mobile vehicle owners to register their vehicles in the mobile sites available on the Ministry of Commerce’s automated system, as well as to install and activate the automatic tracking system (GPS) in each vehicle is on Oct 11, reports Al-Qabas daily. Al-Mazeed urged the owners of mobile vehicles to amend their legal status within the aforementioned period.
She emphasized that the national labor support for Kuwaiti workers, who did not adhere to the previous regulations will not be disbursed. She said the authority will take the necessary procedures in the event of noncompliance with the regulations, such as closing the files of mobile vehicles, non-issuance of new work permits under the licenses of mobile vehicles or non-renewal of work permits for expatriate workers.
She added the owners of mobile vehicles must visit the national labor support cashiers at the headquarters of the National Labor Inspection Department in Qurain, without the need to book an appointment, after modifying their status. She also advised the owners of mobile vehicles to update their data to ensure the disbursement of national labor support – whether under chapter three or five. She said it is also necessary for the owners of mobile vehicles to visit the headquarters of the Labor Department in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate before the specified date in order to avoid the closure of their files
