KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: The Criminal Court refrained from pronouncing punishment against two Kuwaiti brothers, and rather made them sign an undertaking to be of good moral behavior for one year.
In a lawsuit filed on behalf of a Kuwaiti woman, Attorney Zaid Al-Khabaz said her client is a divorcee who lives in a separate house with her son. On the day of incident, she was waiting in front of her friend’s house when suddenly the first brother approached and forcefully dragged her into a car where the second brother was waiting.
She was brought to the the family house where the brothers locked her up. Lawyer Al-Khabbaz described the act as kidnapping, and implored the court to punish the defendants after making them pay compensation to the plaintiff for the material and moral damages she suffered as a result of the incident.
