British woman released on a financial guarantee and a pledge

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: A British woman who tattooed her feet with Quranic verses who was charged for violating religious sanctity was released after signing a pledge to remove the tattoo from her leg.

The British woman who works for a school in Kuwait below 30 yrs of age during her investigation stated that she tattooed those words in her country two years ago and was not aware that those 4 tattooed words was a Quran verse. She was released on financial guarantee after she pledged to remove the tattoo.
