British lady in Salmiya molested – Asian taxi driver with 100 ‘Farawla’ narcotic pills

KUWAIT CITY, April 4: An unknown person molested a British lady in Salmiya area and escaped after the lady shouted for help. The victim filed a case in Salmiya police station and presented medical report to clarify her medical condition.

She said a person in sport suit molested her near a vehicle after she came out of her apartment, and the suspect escaped when she cried out for help. She provided the description of the suspect to the police.

In a related incident, an Asian lady was molested by an unknown person while she was returning to the sponsor’s house in Jahra Governorate. A case was registered.

Securitymen nab Asian taxi driver with 100 ‘Farawla’ narcotic pills
An Asian taxi driver was arrested in possession of 100 narcotic pills that are locally known as ‘Farawla’. According to security sources, when Farwaniya Security Director Brigadier Saleh Al-Enezi received information about a taxi driver selling drugs to his customers, a security team was formed to observe the suspect. He was arrested while he was waiting for one of his clients in the parking area of Farwaniya Cooperative Society.

They checked his civil ID to discover he is an Asian expatriate and they found 100 narcotic pills locally known as ‘Farawla’ in his possession. When questioned, he confessed that he has been working as a taxi driver in order to sell drugs. He was referred with the confiscated drugs to the concerned authorities for further investigations. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 61 bottles of liquor.
