KUWAIT CITY, Sep 28: The Disciplinary Committee of the Kuwait Football Association convened for a marathon session lasting more than seven hours to address the violent incidents that occurred during the Al-Qadsia vs. Kuwait match. Following the deliberations, the committee announced a series of strict penalties against those found responsible:
- Sheikh Fahad Talal, Khaled Al-Ghanim, Abdullah Al-Ansari, Mohammed Al-Hajri, and Adel Aqlah were suspended for three years and banned from entering stadiums.
- Both Al-Qadsia Club and Kuwait Club were fined 10,000 Kuwaiti dinars each. In addition, Fahad Talal and Khaled Al-Ghanim were individually fined the same amount.
- Adel Aqlah, Abdullah Al-Ansari, and Mohammed Al-Hajri were fined 5,000 Kuwaiti dinars each.
- Players Ibrahim Kamil and Abdulaziz Wadi, along with coaches Nabil Maaloul and Karim Bouzghiba, were suspended for four matches.
- Mohammed Redha Maarifi was banned from entering stadiums for one year.
- Mohammed and Mishari Khaled Al-Ghanim were also banned from entering stadiums for one year.
The decisions reflect the Association’s determination to uphold discipline and ensure the safety and integrity of football in Kuwait.
