Border officer and Bedoun accomplice arrested for drug peddling

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17:Under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the officers of the Drug Control General Department apprehended an officer of rank “Lieutenant” from the northern borders and his Bedoun accomplice for the sale, distribution, and storage of drugs in a warehouse located in Jahra.

According to security sources, anti-narcotics officers led by Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs Major General Hamed Al-Dawas and Director Brigadier General Mohammad Qabazard, tracked the northern borders officer who was selling drugs along with his Bedoun partner. Eventually, the officer was arrested, and he confessed to committing the crime along with his Bedoun accomplice. After receiving information that the drugs were being stored in a warehouse in Jahra, a raid on the warehouse was carried out, which led to the discovery of both narcotics and firearms. Necessary action is being taken in this regard.
