KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: The upcoming week is set to bring extremely cold weather to various regions of the country, particularly impacting the desert areas during the early morning hours. Meteorologist Fahd Al-Otaibi anticipates a significant drop in temperatures at the beginning of the week, with wild areas experiencing lows ranging between 7 to 10 degrees Celsius.

Providing insights into recent precipitation, Al-Otaibi noted that from midnight on Tuesday to dawn on Wednesday, rain amounts varied across different regions. Monitoring stations affiliated with the Meteorological Department reported varying levels, with the Wafra area recording 12.3 mm, Kuwait Airport registering 3.9 mm, and the Abdali area witnessing the least amount of rainfall at 0.1 mm.
