KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14 : Minister of Communications and State Minister for Municipality Affairs Essa Al-Kandari said he is keen on implementing the law fairly, reports Al-Anba daily.
On his new project in Kuwait Municipality, Al-Kandari disclosed they are currently working on the automation system for the issuance of licenses and processing of other transactions in a bid to stop the use of ‘wasta’ (influence) and corruption.
Also, he vehemently denied the allegation that he is taking advantage of his ministerial post to appoint officials from his constituency, urging those who made such claim to present proof. He affirmed his role in solving the housing problem is clear, citing the Municipality’s initiative to offer 40,000 housing units in South Saad Al-Abdullah
