Bedoun husband sets his Indonesian wife on fire

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: An unidentified Indonesian woman has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital after her bedoun husband poured on her inflammable substance and set fire to her, reports Al-Rai daily.

The incident happened in a suburb of Al-Qasr following an argument between them inside their home. The husband reportedly lost control and committed the crime.

A security source told the daily when the husband saw the wife burning, he grabbed a blanket and put out the fire and then took her to the Jahra Hospital.

Police said the man after his arrest has admitted to the charge and is now detained at the Jahra Police Station. Police are waiting for the victim to recover to know what exactly happened.
