KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: Bargan Club has bolstered its volleyball team ahead of the season by signing experienced player Jassim Al-Subagah for one year. Al-Subagah joins after several seasons with Kuwait Club, which he left this year.

This signing follows Barqan’s earlier acquisition of standout player Abdulrahman Al-Mutawa from Kazma, signaling the team’s intent to compete strongly for next season’s titles. Last season, Bargan impressed by reaching the league final, falling just short to defending champions Kuwait Club.

Bargan aims to offset the departure of key player Youssef Mendil to Al-Arabi and to contain star player Abdullah Al-Mulla by bringing in Al-Mutawa and Al-Subagah.

The team kicked off its preparations for the new season in Bosnia on September 26, participating in several friendly matches under the guidance of Argentine coach Alejandro Grossi. Barqan had previously also signed Mohammed Al-Shammari to strengthen the squad further.
