MANAMA, Feb 25 (KUNA) -- The Bahraini Health Ministry on Tuesday reported nine new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), taking the kingdom's total number of infection cases up to 17.
The new COVID-19 cases include Bahraini and Saudi citizens coming from Iran via Dubai and Sharjah, the ministry said in a statement carried by Bahrain's official news agency (BNA).
The cases were kept in a well-equipped and isolated area at the Airport, after which the patients were transferred to the Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Health Center in Al Salmaniya, for complete isolation and treatment, it added.
Earlier in the day, the Bahraini Health Ministry reported six new COVID-19 cases.
