KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: Al-Qadsiya Club secured first place in the Kuwait Diving Championship for the senior category, held at the Abdullah Al-Dakhil Aquatic Games Complex at Kazma Club, thanks to the impressive performances of its athletes. Bader Mishal Al-Subaie led the way, earning two gold medals in the 3-meter springboard and platform events, along with a silver medal in the 1-meter springboard competition. His teammate, Mishari Aref Qambar, added to the medal haul with three bronze medals in the same events. Al-Qadsiya's dominance in the competition placed them at the top of the overall rankings, followed by Kazma Club in second place, and Kuwait Club in third.

Vice Chairman of Al-Qadsiya Club, Sheikh Fahad Talal Al-Fahad, praised the club’s diving team during a reception held after its victory. He congratulated the athletes on their achievements and urged them to continue striving for further success to add to the club’s legacy. Sheikh Fahad highlighted the importance of water sports at Al-Qadsiya, noting that the club has a strong tradition of excellence across swimming, diving, and water polo, which has consistently led to the General Excellence Cup. He attributed this success to the tireless efforts of the club’s water sports management, led by Secretary-General and Director of Water Games, Hassan Abu Al-Hassan, and the administrative and technical staff. Hassan Abu Al-Hassan also expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Fahad and the Board of Directors, chaired by Sheikh Khaled Al-Fahad, for their continued support and praised the outstanding performance of the athletes.
