KUWAIT CITY, June 20: The head of the Hawally Governorate Municipality branch, Ibrahim Al-Sabaan, stated successful field campaign which was aimed to reduce bachelors in private and residential areas. The campaign specifically focused on the Salmiya region and implemented strict monitoring measures to identify real estate violations.

During the week-long campaign, the team closely monitored a number of properties in Salmiya block 12 and discovered multiple instances of properties being rented to bachelors that were in clear violation of the law, reports Al Rai. Some of these properties had been converted into stores, restaurants, and even immoral apartments.
Al-Sabaan emphasized that the team operates under the instructions of Kuwait Municipality's Director General, Eng. Saud Al-Dabbous. Daily reports on the committee's progress are regularly submitted to him. He further highlighted that several homes with numerous violations were identified during the campaign, including cases of electricity theft, unauthorized extensions, and misuse of sewage manholes.
The municipality, through the committee, is determined to take swift and decisive action against real estate dealers and foreign investors found in violation. Each party involved will face appropriate measures based on their specialization. Al-Sabaan stressed that the enforcement of the law is a powerful tool that will eliminate those who continue to violate regulations and disregard legal boundaries.
