KUWAIT CITY, Sept 27: The General Fire Force and the Ministry of Social Affairs convened Thursday morning at the Civil Defense building to discuss safety and fire prevention requirements in supermarkets, central markets, and wedding halls.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier Omar Abdel Aziz Hamad, Acting Deputy Chief of the General Fire Force for Civil Defense, and Dr. Sayed Issa Mahmoud, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative, and Cooperation Affairs at the Ministry of Social Affairs, along with senior officials from both bodies.

Key topics included the implementation of safety measures to protect lives and property in public venues. Both parties agreed to establish joint committees and working groups dedicated to ensuring full compliance with fire safety standards and enhancing community security.

The collaboration aims to strengthen preventive measures and protect public spaces nationwide.
