KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: A 57-year-old expat deportation was withdrawn after he was accused of intentionally setting fire to the solitary confinement cell where he was being held. The incident has been classified as a felony.
A security source reported that the expatriate had caused trouble within the deportees' department in Sulaibiya, prompting authorities to place him in solitary confinement. While in the cell, he deliberately started a fire. The Deputy Public Prosecutor was notified and instructed that a case be filed against him.
