‘Asians set up restaurants in building apartments, provide food to illegals’

KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Due to lack of oversight from the Hawalli Municipality, a group of Asian workers have transformed a number of apartments in Hawalli into restaurants with Asian flavor, indifferent to the various state agencies, reports Al- Rai daily.

The Al Rai daily spotted a number of restaurants and their advertisements in different languages to guide customers to their locations and discovered unlicensed restaurants have sprung up in investment buildings to harbor and cater for absconding workers and are also believed to be serving inedible foodstuffs
