KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11:Through persistent endeavors by the criminal security and public safety sectors, significant outcomes have been achieved as the General Department of Criminal Investigation successfully apprehended two expats. One hailed from an Arab background, while the other was of Asian origin. Their illicit activities centered around the trading of alcohol. Total 206 imported liquor bottles was confiscated from their possession.

Moreover, the operation led to the apprehension of 9 expats of Asian descent, who were implicated in the operation of two liquor factories. These arrests were carried out based on compelling evidence of their involvement in the manufacture of illicit alcoholic beverages.

Meanwhile, the Security Directorate of Al-Ahmadi Governorate exhibited commendable vigilance, resulting in the capture of two individuals found to be in possession of locally distilled liquor. Swiftly, they were apprehended and subsequently handed over to the appropriate authorities for the initiation of requisite legal procedures against them. This accomplishment stands as a testament to the region's unwavering commitment to upholding law and order.
