The domestics and some officials running the fake officeKUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: A 37-member gang of Asian expatriates have been arrested for running a fake domestic workers office in Mahboula area and deceiving Kuwaiti citizens. When the General Department for Residency Affairs received information about the activities of the office, a team was formed for investigations.
A trap was set and the suspects were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
In addition, three Asian expatriates were arrested for carrying out plastic surgeries on transgender individuals illegally. After receiving information about their advertisements on Instagram, investigations were launched which led to the arrest of the trio. They admitted that they have been carrying out the surgeries even though they do not possess medical certificates. They have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary action.
