KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: Two Asian expatriates were arrested for attempting to forge fingerprints to escape being caught by security authorities, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to security sources, an Asian expatriate managed to enter the country on a forged passport, a matter that reflects the security shortcomings at the airport because the man was deported one year ago. Out of fear of being discovered, he asked a compatriot friend for help in giving fingerprints on his behalf.

However, neither he nor his friend were aware that forensic men would discover such a move easily because the fingerprints of the compatriot friend would reveal his name, which is contrary to the data on the passport of the suspect. The two suspects have been arrested and referred to the concerned authorities in preparation for their deportation.
