Part of dilapidated building which fell on the Asian blacksmith

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6: An Asian blacksmith died when part of a dilapidated building at a farm in Wafra fell on him. The Operations Unit in Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) received a report about the incident, so it immediately dispatched a team from Wafra Fire Station to the location. However, the man was already dead when they arrived at the scene. His remains were referred to Forensics.

A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to determine the actual circumstances leading to the incident. Also, an Arab truck driver died while another sustained injuries when their vehicles fell into the marine aquarium at Shu’aiba Port after colliding with each other. Upon receiving a report on the incident, the Operations Unit at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) sent a team from Shu’aiba Marine Rescue Center to the location.

The two truck drivers were taken out of the water but one of them died and the other was rushed to the nearest hospital. A case was registered and investigations are in progress to determine the actual cause of the accident
