KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8:  An Arab woman has been arrested by law enforcement officers for possessing a mixture of drugs, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to a security source the expatriate woman had previously been detained on multiple occasions and was released due to humanitarian considerations.

The source went on to say that the arrest was made following information received by the Directorate-General for Drugs Control, indicating that the woman was involved in drug consumption and trafficking.

Subsequently, security authorities obtained a search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution, leading to the woman's arrest. During the arrest, law enforcement confiscated five sachets of shabu and five sachets of chemicals from her possession.

It remains uncertain whether the woman will be promptly deported from the country or if her 'special circumstances' will pose a hindrance to this course of action.
