Egyptian pharmacist caught selling banned psychotropic substances without an approved prescription

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: An Egyptian Pharmacist was arrested for selling prohibited psychotropic drugs without prescription. Earlier the Ministry of Interior had received information that there is an Egyptian national who works as a pharmacist and is trading with psychotropic substances without approved medical prescriptions. An ambush was set up and was caught red-handed at his workplace in the pharmacy after selling 100 boxes of psychotropic substances for KD 4000 without prescription. He also has in his possession about 300,000 pills of various types.

The accused admitted to his crime, he was referred to the competent authorities to take further legal measures on him.
