KUWAIT, May 17: The Ministry of Interior said on Sunday that it had registered two cases against an Arab expat after a quarrel with a military personnel of the Kuwaiti army in Sulaibikhat shopping mall for breaking the curfew and misuse of telephone.

The statement was issued by General Administration of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior regarding a video clip that was circulated on some social networking sites for a quarrel between a expat of an Arab nationality and a military personnel from the Kuwaiti army in a shopping mall in the area (Sulaibikhat).

After receiving the complain the security men immediately went to the location and arrested the expat. The expat was charged with two accounts of curfew rules violation and mobile phone misuse, it pointed out.
It added that the expat will remand in jail pending further investigations.
The ministry stressed that it will closely follow up this case and will take all necessary legal actions to maintain full respect to security and military personnel .(KUNA)
