Amir lauds political activist

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated in a cable, on Thursday, political activist Dr Al-Anoud Al-Sharikh on being recognized by the BBC as one of the top 100 influential women around the world for 2019.

In the cable, His Highness the Amir commended Dr Al-Sharikh on this achievement, which highlighted the efforts of Kuwaiti women both regionally and internationally.

His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables.

Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim also congratulated in a cable Dr Al-Anoud on being recognized by the BBC as one of the top 100 influential women around the world for 2019. In the cable, Al-Ghanim commended Dr Al-Sharikh on this achievement, which highlighted the efforts of Kuwaiti women both regionally and internationally.
