Amir congratulates Al-Qadisiya on the Cup victory

KUWAIT CITY, May 22, (KUNA): His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable to the Chairman of Qadsia Sports Club Sheikh Khaled Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, expressing sincere congratulations on Qadsia’s victory in the His Highness the Amir Football Cup.

In his message, His Highness the Amir praised the outstanding performance of both Qadsia and Al-Salmiya SC in the final match, which concluded with a 1-0 victory for Qadsia at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. His Highness extended his best wishes for continued success; hoping Kuwaiti sports would be well represented in regional and international events.

Upon arrival, His Highness the Amir was received by the Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, and Minister of Youth Dr Amthal Al-Huwailah, along with Dr. Sheikh Fahad Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwait Olympic Committee (KOC), and Faisal Naser Al-Yateem, Acting General Manager of the Public Authority of Sport. His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and other senior state officials also attended the match. After the game, His Highness the Amir presented the cup to the Qadsia SC team.

Additionally, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable to the Chairman of Qadsia Sports Club.
