LOS ANGELES, Feb 15, (Agencies): Country singer Alex Miller reflects on the recent tragic car accident he was involved in, where he was a passenger on a bus struck by another vehicle. The incident took place while he and members of his band were returning from a vacation.

In a statement provided by his manager on Wednesday, it was clarified that Miller was not operating either vehicle during the collision. The unfortunate event resulted in the death of the car’s driver. The statement expressed Miller’s condolences and shared that he sends his thoughts and prayers to the deceased driver’s family. Thankfully, no one on the bus sustained injuries.

The Kentucky State Police are actively investigating the incident, as mentioned in the statement and corroborated by an exclusive statement from Miller’s manager. Both expressed regret over the tragic outcome and conveyed sympathy for the deceased driver.

The Kentucky State Police released a press statement on Wednesday, providing details about the fatal crash. The preliminary report indicates that a 53-year-old Mount Vernon resident named James M. Mcpheron lost control of his 2004 Toyota Rav4, veering into the path of Miller’s tour bus, a 1997 Van Hool operated by 43-year-old Roger D. Miller from Lancaster.

Unfortunately, Mr. Mcpheron succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Rockcastle Regional Hospital by the Rockcastle County Coroner. The collision occurred around 10:28 pm on South Wildness Road in Rockcastle County, as detailed by the Kentucky State Police’s Post 11 London unit.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, involving multiple state law enforcement agencies. Alex Miller shared the same message on his social media accounts, expressing sorrow for the tragic loss and reiterating his thoughts and prayers for the deceased driver’s family.
