'Ambulance calls' drop sharply after new traffic law enforcement
The new traffic law resulted in fewer accident-related emergencies in Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY, July 26 A notable decline in 'ambulance calls' linked to traffic accidents has been recorded following the implementation of Kuwait’s new traffic law, according to Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.

In a statement posted on Friday to his official account on the “X” platform, Dr. Al-Sanad announced that ambulance-related calls due to traffic incidents dropped by 357 cases within just two months of the law’s enforcement.

He attributed the improvement to both divine grace and the combined impact of enhanced legislation and on-ground efforts by relevant authorities.

“We confidently look forward to even better results in the coming days,” Al-Sanad added, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration between legal frameworks and field operations in ensuring public safety on Kuwait’s roads.
