Alcohol and beer cans seized from two drunkards

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: Road security patrolmen have arrested two drunkards who caused disturbance to passersby and even collided with a police patrol on the Nuwaiseeb highway and fled to the Ali Sabah Al-Salem area, where they were caught in possession of 14 bottles of imported alcohol and cans of alcoholic beer, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source told the daily the arrest came after the Interior Ministry operations room received calls from motorists that two men on the Nuwaiseeb Highway were making stunts in the middle of the road and endangering the lives of other motorists.

When police rushed to the spot, the suspects escaped after colliding with a police vehicle but they were chased by the police patrols until they reached Sabah Al-Salem and arrested. Their car has been impounded and referred to the MOI garage.
