KUWAIT CITY, Dec 9: Knight Fawaz Al-Subaie secured the championship title on the inaugural day of the show jumping tournament dedicated to his late uncle, Abdul Aziz Al-Masaieed. The event takes place at the Kuwait Equestrian Center in the Subhan area and has drawn significant participation from both male and female riders representing various local clubs.

In the seventh round, navigating obstacles at a height of 135 cm, Al-Subaie claimed the top position. Jockey Nick Channing excelled at a height of 125 cm, securing the first and second places.

Nasser Abdulaziz Al-Masaieed, the head of the tournament's organizing committee, revealed that over 350 male and female riders are actively participating. The challenging course was meticulously designed by German expert Frank Rothenberger, ranked fifth in the world.

Al-Masaieed emphasized that the tournament operates on a points system, ensuring transparency and providing equal opportunities for all riders to compete.
