Khaitan player wins the aerial battle during a league game.

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: Tonight marks the conclusion of the relegation group matches in the Zain Premier League, featuring two pivotal fixtures in the sixth round. At 7:10 pm, Kazma will face off against Al-Shabab, while simultaneously Al-Jahra will take on Khaitan at the Friendship and Peace Stadium.

Kazma's position in the Premier League for the upcoming season is secured, leading the standings with 32 points. The battle for the remaining qualification spot is between Al-Shabab (20 points) and Khaitan (18 points), with Al-Jahra already relegated to the first-tier clubs with 14 points, securing the fourth and final spot.

Al-Shabab aims to secure qualification by either defeating or drawing with Kazma, relying on their advantage in confrontations with Khaitan. Meanwhile, Khaitan must secure a win, relying on the determination of its players.

In their previous encounters this season, Al-Shabab has demonstrated dominance over Kazma with two victories (2-1 and 2-0) and one defeat (0-2). Al-Shabab understands that their fate in the Premier League rests in their hands, emphasizing the need for success in the final leg of the tournament.

On the other hand, Kazma seeks to conclude the season on a positive note, with young players eager to showcase their talents and earn the trust of the coaching staff.

In the second match, Khaitan is determined to secure a victory to bolster its chances of survival in the league. However, it also relies on Al-Shabab's defeat to strengthen its position. Khaitan has struggled against Al-Jahra in their previous encounters this season, with "Sons of the Red Palace" securing two victories (2-1 and 4-2) and a draw.
