Al-Salmiya and Kazma begin Turkish training camps ahead of Zain Premier League

ISTANBUL, Aug 13: Al-Salmiya kicked off its first training session in Turkey, where the team will remain until August 30. During the camp, it will play three friendly matches: against Sirik Spor on Sunday, Magosa Turk Gusu on August 21, and Antalya Spor on August 27.

The club delegation is led by President Sheikh Turki Al-Yousef and includes the technical, administrative, and medical staff, along with 25 players.

Al-Salmiya is preparing for the start of the Zain Premier League, opening on September 12 with a first-round match against Kazma. The team began training in mid-July and has already played one friendly, defeating Al-Jazeera 2-0.

Kazma departed early today for a training camp in Izmit, Turkey, which will continue until the end of August and feature four friendly matches.

Croatian coach Dragan Tadic is focused on preparing his squad ahead of the Zain Premier League opener against Al-Salmiya on September 12.

The delegation is led by the treasurer and head of football Omar Al-Mulla, and includes technical, administrative, and medical staff, along with 25 players.

Kazma has strengthened its roster with new signings Sultan Al-Anzi and Khalifa Rahil, welcomed back Shbib Al-Khaldi, and added Osman Al-Shammari. Foreign reinforcements include Algerian Idriss Chaoubi and Jordanians Ali Azaiza and Yousef Abu Al-Jazar.
