KUWAIT CITY, Nov 5: Adnan Al-Qazwini crowned martial arts champion after clinching the coveted (Middle East) belt, besting Jarrah Al-Anzi. This achievement came to fruition at the culmination of the Fourth Kuwait International Martial Arts Championship, which unfolded at Al-Zumroda Hall in the Salwa area. The event was graced by the presence of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Faisal Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah, a member of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee, alongside representatives from Malek Sports Promotion Company (KSP) and the World Boxing Council (WBC) in Kuwait, including Mishal Al-Fajji.
In another remarkable bout, Tunisian Hatem Jouaa secured the KSP Middle East Muay Thai belt by triumphing over his Lebanese counterpart, Muhannad Al-Maghribi. This contest was marked by excitement and parity, with both athletes showcasing their full array of skills from the first round through to the conclusion of the fifth.
The Fourth Kuwait International Martial Arts Championship also witnessed other professional Muay Thai clashes, as Khaled Jaber overcame Mohamed Zayed, Jassim Al-Shuaib emerged victorious against Youssef Al-Samahiji, and Fadi Al-Wakeel defeated Obaid Al-Mutairi. In the realm of professional boxing, Hassan Al-Kaabi defeated Fahd Al-Hajri, Khaled Al-Rashidi secured a victory over Youssef Badawi, and Nour Metwally bested Nayef Abdel Jader.
Meshal Al-Fajji emphasized that the championship showcased a wealth of Arab talent with the potential to make significant strides in their professional careers, whether in boxing or Muay Thai. He expressed the organization's commitment to nurturing Arab champions, helping them attain international recognition, and enhancing their technical and physical abilities.
