KUWAIT CITY, March 28: Al Nasr Club was crowned as champion of the STC Kuwait Football Association Cup 2021-2022 for the first time in its history after defeating Al Arabi in a penalty shootout 5:4
The match which was held at Al-Sadaqa Al-Salam Stadium, in its first half Al Arabi scored in the 41st minute through Saif Al-Hashan. In the second half Al Nasr equalized through Mohamed Daham in the 66th minute. Eventually the winner had to be decided on penalty kicks after goalless extra time. Qadisiyah and Kuwait FC have won 5 times each, followed by Al Arabi three times, Kazma twice while Al-Yarmouk, Fahaheel, Khaitan and Al-Nasr clubs won the title once.
