KUWAIT CITY, May 29: Kuwaiti boxer Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi returned to the country after securing third place and winning the bronze medal in the 71 kg category at the Asian Youth Championships, held in Sri Lanka from May 10 to 24.
Al-Mutairi was welcomed upon arrival by the Secretary-General of the Kuwait Boxing Federation, Mutlaq Al-Azmi, and the Federation's Director, Abdullah Hussein.
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of the Delegation, Bader Al-Faraj, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, and to the Acting Director-General of the Public Authority for Sports, Bashar Abdullah. He praised their ongoing support for Kuwaiti boxing and their commitment to removing obstacles to the success of Kuwait’s athletes.
