KUWAIT CITY, Oct 20: Kuwait Touristic Enterprises Company on Wednesday inaugurated the newly renovated Al-MessilaH Beach, unveiling a vibrant new look on Kuwait’s coast and marking a major step forward in the country’s tourism revitalization efforts. The redeveloped destination is expected to attract visitors of all ages throughout the year.
Chief Executive Officer Anwar Al-Hlailah said during the inauguration ceremony that the facelifted beach represents one of the company’s ongoing projects to upgrade and modernize Kuwait’s tourism facilities. He described the project as a model of public-private sector cooperation, noting that United Projects for Aviation Services Company (UPAC) will manage and operate the 70,000-square-meter site. The beach includes four swimming pools, children’s playgrounds, landscaped green areas, and a variety of leisure and service facilities.
UPAC’s Hamad Malallah highlighted that the venture stands as a successful example of partnership between the public and private sectors, aligning with the “New Kuwait Vision 2035.” The project aims to boost domestic tourism, stimulate the national economy, and enhance the overall quality of life.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governor Sheikh Sabah Bader Al-Salem Al-Sabah, along with senior state officials and representatives from both the Touristic Enterprises Company and UPAC.
Following its comprehensive redevelopment, Al-Messilah Beach has emerged as one of Kuwait’s most prominent tourist and recreational destinations.
