Al-Shammari penetrates the Indian team's defense to score.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Kuwait Handball Club secured a resounding 43-19 victory over India’s Golden Angel in the 26th edition of the Asian Club Championship at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex, known as "Al-Al -kuwait now boasts 4 points from two wins. Conversely, it marked the third consecutive loss for the Indian team, which has yet to secure any points in the tournament.

As the competition enters its fifth day, today's schedule includes five matches in the fourth round of the group stage. Among these, the clash between Kuwait and Al-Khaleej Saudi Arabia holds significant importance, as it will determine the two teams qualifying for the semi-finals in the first group. A similar high-stakes situation applies to the match between Al-Qadsia and Al-Arabi of Qatar, where the host team aims to secure a victory and solidify its spot in the tournament's semi-finals.

Expressing gratitude, Hassan Kamel Saleh, the head of the Lebanese Youth Sports Club delegation (Haret Sidon), extended sincere thanks to Al-Qadsia Club and the organizing committee for hosting the 26th Asian Club Handball Championship. He emphasized the significance of the club's participation in the tournament amid challenging circumstances in Lebanon. Additionally, Hassan Farhan, head of the Iraqi army delegation, highlighted their participation in the continental tournament, emphasizing the importance of such events for Iraqi teams after a prolonged absence from major tournaments.

The competition remains a platform for teams to showcase their skills and determination, contributing to the growth and recognition of handball in the Asian region.
