Al-Kharafi won Al-Rayyan International horse jumping championship

Ali Al-Kharafi receiving his trophy. Al-Kharafi, of Kuwait, won Al-Rayyan International horse jumping championship, crossing all 135-cm-high hurdles in 56.53 seconds without any mistakes. Qatari Awadh Al-Qahtani came second with 57.62 seconds and Kuwait’s Yara Al-Hunaidi came third after clocking 58.92 seconds.

Al-Kharafi expressed, in a statement to KUNA, content for this win which he dedicated it for the Kuwaiti people. The three-day Al-Rayyan championship is one leg of an Arab league, which qualifies for the world championship, due in France in 2018. (KUNA)
