KUWAIT CITY, Oct 6: Al-Jazeera moved up to second place in the Zain First Division after a convincing 2-0 win over Khaitan in a match at Nasser Al-Ossaimi Stadium, wrapping up the fourth round of the season.
The victory boosted Al-Jazeera’s points tally to 10, while Khaitan remained stuck at 1 point, in sixth place.
Al-Jazeera continues to trail league leader Al-Sulaibikhat, who is atop the standings with 12 points, after the newcomer notched three wins and one draw in the competition so far.
