FUHEIS, Jordan, Sept 18: The Kuwaiti team, Al-Fatat, suffered a narrow 76-85 defeat against Jordan's Al-Fuheis Youth Club in the third round of the Arab Clubs Championship for Women's Basketball at the Fuheis Club Hall

Al-Fatat started the game with a strong performance, leading by one point (45-44) at halftime, thanks to key contributions from Jay Burch and Al-Habil. However, Al-Fuheis made a comeback in the later periods, driven by outstanding performances from American players Brookie Williams and Angela Tompkins. Williams scored 36 points, and Tompkins delivered a "double-double" with 22 points and 14 rebounds.

Despite persistent efforts from Al-Fatat to hold its lead in the final periods, Fuheis Club pulled ahead in the fourth quarter, securing the top spot in the championship standings with 6 points. Al-Fatat currently sits in second place with 5 points.

Al-Fatat will play a crucial match today against the Iraqi Gas Al-Shamal team at 3:00 pm, aiming to rebound from its loss and strengthen its position in the competition.
