KUWAIT CITY, April 15 : Hamida Al-Yousifi, Secretary of the Al-Fatah Sports Club, lauded her team's third consecutive win in the Women's Basketball League as a remarkable achievement. She credited the club's success to the tireless efforts of the players and the support of the Board of Directors.

Al-Yousifi told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the club's victory was the result of rigorous preparations, which included internal and external training camps to raise the team's technical level. She added that the club's recruitment of several distinguished foreign professional players was also crucial to their championship win, as they performed exceptionally well alongside the local players throughout the tournament.

The tournament was notably competitive this season, with high technical standards, and Al-Yousifi commended the Kuwait Basketball Association and the women's committee, headed by Walid Al-Shammari, for their expert organization of the event.

Al-Fatah clinched the title after beating Salwa Al-Sabah 76-52 in the final round, held yesterday evening at the Al-Ittihad Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Hall complex. Al-Qurain Club secured second place with a resounding 108-47 victory over Al-Ayoun, while the latter took third place.
