HANGZHOU, Sept 21: Abdulrahman Al-Fadl, a member of our national rowing team, has advanced to the semi-finals following a highly competitive event in which he clinched the third position. Al-Fadl expressed his elation at reaching this stage, marking it as a historic achievement in his career. He underlined his dedication to intensify his efforts and focus in the upcoming semi-final matches, with the ultimate goal of securing a spot in the finals and vying for the coveted medals.

Meanwhile, two athletes from our national rowing team, Mohammed Al-Sabti and Youssef Abdulhadi, embarked on their journey at the Asian Games by finishing fifth in the men’s double sculls competition. The competition was fierce, featuring teams from India, Iraq, and Hong Kong. Al-Sabti and Abdulhadi are set to compete in the repechage rounds next Sunday at 6:00 am.

Reflecting on the intense competition in the men’s double sculls rowing event, Mohammed Al-Sabti, a member of our national rowing team, acknowledged the presence of highly ranked competitors and world champions in the field. He pledged to exert additional effort to attain the best possible results in the upcoming matches and reiterated his commitment to representing the team in the most exemplary manner.
