KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Bader Al-Essa announced that the higher studies institutes are prepared to accommodate all public high school graduates of the 2016/2017 academic year, reports Al-Rai daily.

He denied reports about an ‘admission crisis’, revealing about the enhanced coordination among the concerned authorities for providing seats to the students in all faculties of Kuwait University, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) and private universities as well as providing local and overseas scholarships.

The minister said a total of 30,000 Kuwaitis registered in the Grade 12 examinations, indicating that there are enough seats in the higher studies institutes to accommodate these students. He added that the success rate in both science and arts divisions are good.
